How To Get a Car Accident Report in Spokane County WA

How To Get a Vehicle Collision Report

If you have retained us we can obtain these reports on your behalf. If the accident took place in Spokane, Spokane Valley, or any surrounding area and was written up by Spokane PD, Spokane Valley PD, Spokane County Sheriff’s Department or Washington State Patrol officers, the vehicle collision report is going to be in the same place, which is Washington State Patrol in Olympia. These reports may be obtained in person, online, or by mail.

For requests, you’ll need an appointment. The Collision Records Office is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but is closed on holidays.

You may request your report online using the Washington State Patrol Requests for Electronic Collision Records (WRECR) portal.

You may have to wait two weeks to a month before an officer completes and enters your report. You’ll enter the name of the party involved and the date of your accident. If your report is located, you’ll pay $10.50 for a copy.

By Mail:

You will need to print out this form and fill it out, or fill it out and print it.

At the time of publishing of this article, reports are $10.50. Payment can be sent in by check or money order.
