WSU Student Car Accidents

June 27, 2017

If you or a loved one is a student of Washington State University (WSU) and was injured in a car wreck in Pullman or beyond, please feel free to contact us for a free and confidential consultation. This goes for both drivers and passengers involved in accidents involving one or more vehicles, or vehicles such as Uber or Zipcars or Green Bikes.

Do I really need a personal injury lawyer?

Our services are not needed in each and every case. In many instances, people call and are given free advice on how to proceed with their minor injury or property damage claim. However, if serious injuries are involved we can often help the injured victims obtain significantly more compensation for their injuries than they would receive without us. Insurers wish to minimize claims even when people have injuries which will last them a lifetime, and may even try to blame you for your injuries to accomplish their goal.

A recent crash in Colfax, WA:

On Sunday, June 25, 2017, two WSU students were involved in a rollover accident. Thankfully, these students survived the crash. Our hearts go out to these students and their families. The phone call of a loved one in an accident is one that nobody ever wants to receive.

In this particular case, according to The Daily Evergeen, the driver allegedly fell asleep on Highway 195 in Colfax, and the Honda SUV they were in hit a ditch and rolled over.  Both of the vehicle’s occupants were transported to Whitman Community Hospital, but the passenger was later moved to Sacred Heart, a hospital where many people in the area go to if they have suffered traumatic injuries.

According to one poll, over 11 million people were involved in accidents or “near-accidents” from falling asleep at the wheel in one year in the USA. Adults aged 18 – 29 are the most likely to drive while drowsy, possibly from hectic student and work schedules.
