Motorcycle Collisions Involving Turning Vehicles On US 95 In Bonner County ID

October 19, 2021

Motorcyclists face so many dangers on Idaho roads and even a slight increase in the attention shown by careless motorists could prevent hundreds of injuries and save countless lives each year.

Drivers making a lane change, attempting a turn, or coming up on a redlight owe it to every rider to take a second look. They should make sure they don’t miss an approaching motorcyclist, a stopped rider, or someone on a bike beside them. Failure to make these extra checks on the road can lead to devastating accidents.

Finding Support for Families After Motorcycle Accidents in Idaho

Families left to cope with the loss of a loved one to a roadway accident can become the unfair targets of funeral costs and emergency response fees. These expenses and more can arrive in the family’s mailbox shortly after a tragedy.

To protect the financial stability of a victimized family, a wrongful death claim can be filed against an at-fault driver’s car accident insurance. This claim would provide money for the family’s current bills and would also request money to provide for the future when a victim can no longer provide care and financial support to the family.

Families should never leave their insurance claims up to insurance companies. Insurance companies aren’t required to inform families of the benefits they have access to. Insurance adjusters are also known for trying to pin blame on motorcycle riders in any accident no matter what a police accident report says.
