Driver Fails to Yield Causing Serious Crash in Lewiston

An example of a failure to yield crash happened Tuesday morning on U.S. 95. According to the Idaho State Police, the driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt attempted to enter U.S. 95 from Nez Perce Road. He entered the path of a Chevrolet pickup truck which struck him broadside.

Police say that the driver of the Cobalt was taken to a local hospital, and his condition is unknown. It’s not known at this time if the driver of the pickup truck was injured.
