Post Falls Truck Crash on I95 Ejects Teenagers

September 11, 2016

According to an article on Fox 28, Idaho State Police responded to a scene where 3 teens were injured when a 1978 Chevy truck went off of the road and all 3 teenage occupants were ejected from the vehicle and taken to Kootenai Medical Center, a hospital in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Receiving the call that a loved one has been injured is devastating and we hope that all 3 of these teenagers make full recoveries.

No seatbelts

According to the article, no seat belts were in use. While seat belts reduce risk ejection, they do not eliminate it, especially when a vehicle has rolled over.

Sometimes when people are injured in accidents, insurance companies do not want to pay an adequate amount of money for the injuries, and point to the lack of a seat belt. However, people still have very real injuries and insurance companies may still be held accountable even if you were not wearing a seatbelt.

Contact an attorney

In the event you or a loved one are injured in an accident in or around Post Falls we strongly recommend that you speak to an attorney that specializes in personal injury law, especially if serious injuries are involved.

Unfortunately, many insurers will act friendly and attempt to gather information from you to use against you in the future and minimize your compensation and do not have your best interests in mind.
