After a long, drawn out, wet winter, Washington’s bikers have been soaking up all the sun they can. Unfortunately, when motorcycles are involved in accidents, the result is often traumatic injuries and sometimes death to the rider. In some cases, people in cars and trucks are injured as well. Many sports bikes weigh in at around 500lbs and some bikes, such as Harley Davidson Softails are closer to 750.

Do I need a lawyer after a motorcycle accident?
You could be the victim in the accident, or even have a claim against your own insurance company. After any serious injury, it is important to speak with a local, trusted and experienced motorcycle accident lawyer. At the least, you will get some free advice out of the call.
Some insurers are willing to compensate people injured in accidents, however most work to minimize these claims. They could delay or deny the claim, ask you to prove negligence or attribute fault to you.
In many cases, you will obtain significantly more compensation for your injuries with a lawyer than you would obtain without one.
