A man following a car that was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly through Spokane this week jumped into action when the vehicle slammed into a family traveling through the intersection of Sprague and Division. According to KHQ, the man was on work release and his instincts kicked in and he sprang into action. When he climbed into the vehicle, the mother was trapped in the wreckage and the father was losing consciousness. The baby was loose from their car seat from the impact and hanging from a seat belt. Thankfully, everyone is expected to survive this terrible accident.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve written about the dangerous intersection of Sprague and Division. This is an old, complicated intersection where several accidents have occurred. Of course, it is no place for a reckless driver to be speeding through intersections.
