Distracted Driver in Colfax Washington Causes Car Accident

An alleged distracted driver caused a major accident just outside of Colfax Washington.

The accident occurred in a construction zone where traffic was stopped on Highway 195. A flagger was in a “cone zone” and stopping traffic. A van was stopped, and even though she was carrying a stop sign a truck approaching allegedly never slowed down. The flagger ran for her life and narrowly escaped death as the truck plowed into the van. In total, 3 cars were involved in the crash.
