Reckless Driver Causes Collision on I-90 in Spokane
Two people were injured in a collision on Interstate 90 Saturday Afternoon in Spokane. KHQ-TV reported the accident happened in the eastbound lanes around 4:30 p.m. near the Sprague Avenue exit on November 21, 2020.
Police say a 20-year-old motorist from Spokane Valley was driving recklessly when he lost control, hit barriers on the left and right sides, and then hit a second car. A 68-year-old husband and his 70-year-old wife were in the second car. The husband was taken to the hospital with injuries, the wife was transported to the hospital as a precaution, but was not reported to have injuries. The 20-year-old motorist was also injured in the crash.
The 20-year-old man was charged with speeding and reckless driving. Investigators do not think drugs or alcohol were involved.
